Job Summary The Inventory Control Planner at MedMen is responsible for inventory accuracy within the retail realm. To accomplish this goal, the IC planner is responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining the policies & procedures for our supply chain and retail Inventory teams, and providing education and support to other teams to ensure compliance and inventory accuracy. Continuous improvement and establishing best practices based on the appropriate use of ERP reporting and available tools to execute inventory management functions. Recommend and implement updates to policies, processes, and procedures that support and ensure accurate records of inventory activities, while driving continuous improvement of our inventory processes Monitor and support inventory transactions within Microsoft NAV and associated warehouse management systems to provide guidance regarding inventory issues including the existence, cause and resolution of inventory variances, while reporting out findings to senior leadership Manage and provide appropriate direction and support to retail team members and supply chain support staff to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of inventory controls systems and procedures Act as the main point of contact with external auditors Work closely with supply chain and inventory analysts to identify opportunities to optimize the inbound and outbound flow of finished goods. Work with Dir. of Product Life-Cycle Systems and Data management to sync all inventory storage infrastructure with the inventory systems as designed within the ERP Provide weekly and monthly updates during S&OP meetings on health of the inventory operations throughout the MedMen Chain. Support ad-hoc project requests from the of Product Life-Cycle Systems and Data management Train MedMen employees on proper inventory operations & control processes to decrease the likelihood of inventory discrepancies in the MedMen Chain. Train MedMen employees on use of all inventory management hardware Provide a framework to understand the true capacity of each location’s back-of-house based on the product mix that is driven by the demand of each location. Coordinate with the MedMen facilities and retail operations departments, as well as other stakeholders for timely delivery of inventory optimization projects Basic Qualifications: 1-2 years of hands-on experience in ERP system 2-3 years of experience working in a supply chain role Bachelors’ degree Preferred Qualifications: ERP Implementation experience Warehousing experience, as well as familiarity with warehousing management systems Construction / construction management experience Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Supervisory Responsibility Supervises and trains retail staff on proper procedure and use of supply chain hardware Provides ad hoc training to various departments on certain essential functions of NAV ERP Working Conditions This position requires sitting or standing in an office setting for extended periods of time This position requires periodic lifting of items ranging from 10lbs to a maximum of 50lbs This position requires full time attendance from Monday to Friday, and on-call availability during weekends. This position requires exposure to periodic loud noise, construction settings, inclement weather, and certain hazardous materials.
