Director of Inventory

Job Purpose: The Director of Inventory will oversee the daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, material handling, inventory management, and supervising warehouse employees at the Cura CBD Facility. This individual must be able to multi-task, work quickly and efficiently, and be adaptable to change priorities and tasks as needed. We have a very fast- paced environment as we continue to grow and expand. Must be motivated, trustworthy, and a team player. What You'll Do: - Oversee warehouse, including inventory and equipment management, along with team management - Understand and influence the quality, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods: dry, finished, packaging, supply materials, and equipment - Coordinate material schedules with purchasing and production - Assist with procurement, inventory planning, forecasting and managing inventory levels - Manage material handling practices - Advise employees on care and preservation of items received and stored - Protect company assets, maintain clean, organized, and safe conditions and equipment - Communicate with co packers and perform quality assurance on inventory received - Support continuous improvement by documenting all processes of daily warehouse operations - Negotiate with internal and external partners to ensure 100% customer satisfaction - Observe and enforce safety protocol and correct any unsafe practices - Manage warehouse systems and ensure electronic records reflect physical warehouse - Aid in establishing and maintaining compliance with cGMP, CFR and FDA regulations What You'll Need: - 5+ years' experience working in a process-oriented warehouse or advanced warehousing experience - 2+ years' experience managing a team - Experience in a large scale warehouses with high volume output - Experience maintaining proactive inventory levels to meet sales demand - Knowledge of best practices in assembly, order fulfillment, cycle counting, receiving, and inventory management - Strength in problem-solving and issue-resolution - Experience with NAV or other ERP systems - Must obtain the OLCC Marijuana Workers Permit - Must be over 21 years of age Extra Credit (Preferred): - Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related - Knowledge of cannabis and/or CBD laws and regulations What You'll Get at Cura: - 7 paid company holidays and 10 PTO days (accrued) - 90% coverage of employee's medical, dental and vision insurance - Public transportation stipend / parking permit discounts - Gym membership discounts - Free long and short-term disability - Free confidential counseling - Free life insurance - Free and discounted legal services - Free financial planning (homeownership program) - Free Gift Fridays - Company Clubs (LGBTQ+, Women's, Book, etc.) We are an equal opportunity employer.
